Anita Bubna is the Senior Director of Treasury at Flex Ltd, an American multinational technological manufacturer and a leader in hi-tech manufacturing supply chains. She has led the implementation of the treasury management system at Flex. In addition, she has conceptualized the development of several in-house solutions that have transformed the treasury function. Anita plays a key role in developing the digital strategy for treasury and finance. She is currently leading efforts at Flex to launch various pilot programs using new technologies like DLT . In her current role, she manages global cash and strategic cross-functional team projects. A large part of her experience in treasury has been focused on developing innovative global working capital solutions. In addition to her experience as a treasury professional, she has also held roles in software project management, FP&A, credit and operations finance.

Royston Da Costa has over 29 years’ experience working in treasury. He joined Wolseley, now Ferguson Group, in April 2002, and was responsible for managing the large, international group’s daily debt and cash requirements. He also implemented a global multi-currency notional cash pooling structure with BMG in 2010. After being put in charge of treasury systems and development at Ferguson in 2010, Royston helped improve the visibility of Ferguson’s cash around the group using SWIFT MT940s. In 2015 he managed the project to implement a cloud-based treasury management solution called tm5 by BELLIN, and in 2017 he implemented SWIFT. He was promoted to assistant group treasurer in November 2016, and is now responsible for the middle office. Internally, he acts as the focal point for Ferguson Group’s business units on operational treasury issues such as payment connectivity, working capital and transactional banking. Externally, he is the main contact for the group’s relationship banks on matters related to payments, regulation and technology. He continues to be responsible for driving forward the group’s strategy on treasury systems. Royston has been interviewed by a number of mainstream Treasury journals like the Treasurer and Treasury Today. He has also had a guide on “Cyber Fraud and the impact on Treasury” published by BELLIN. He is a frequent speaker at national conferences (ACT Annual conference) and international conferences (EuroFinance, The Economist, Treasury Leaders’ Summit, and the Treasurers Exchange in Germany). Royston previously worked at Sky, Gillette, Seagram’s and Vivendi Universal.

Main areas are the setup, evaluation and reorganisation of strategies and organisations for corporate treasuries as well as energy- and commodity trading units, development of methods and processes for financial risk management, cashmanagement and payment processing, the selection and implementation of IT-solutions and the valuation and accounting of financial instruments Prior to his position at KPMG in 2002 he held positions as head of international controlling, group accounting and treasury in an international consumer goods group. He also worked as project manager and expert for billing systems for an IT-consultancy. In addition to this he was professor for accounting and tax at a university of applied science.
