Pre-conference Training

February 11, 2020

Early birds are in for a 1TC treat! On Tuesday, February 11, 1TC 2020 kicks off with the Pre-conference Training exclusively for BELLIN clients.

Opening Speech

Edward Collis | Save the Children

From Saving Data to Saving Children: My Unique Corporate Treasury Journey
With this year’s 1TC conference theme being “Open Treasury,” Edward Collis, Treasurer of Save the Children International, has kindly agreed to open up about his unique journey within the treasury industry. Join Edward as he shares his raw experiences that are filled with a roller coaster of highs and lows, good times and bad times, and the opportunities that helped mold his path toward his current role as the Treasurer for Save the Children International. On that roller coaster, Edward will tap into diverse experience leading treasury teams for a major list plc, a well-known UK-based private airline, and a privately-owned Middle Eastern conglomerate. Edward’s treasury story may be relatable to some and moving to others but most importantly, it will be an “Open Treasury” story.

CFOs in the Hotseat

What do CFOs really think about treasury? What is CFOs’ take on some of the topics and issues that treasurers deal with on a daily basis? Do they value treasurers’ opinions, or do accounting and controlling have the upper hand? Where do they see trends, opportunities and threats? We want to find out and have invited several high-profile CFOs on stage for an exclusive Q&A session. BELLIN CCO Michael Juen has the questions, they have the answers. Get a unique insight and be surprised.
